Greetings to Umu Ndi-Gbo. Udo'nu!
Granted, quite a lot of our original Igbo heritages were either disfigured, destroyed, plagiarised, whitewashed or completely changed.
From our True Igbo Histories to our Igbo Lunar Calendar; to Igbo CULTure (Odi'n'Ala); to Igbo Family structure; to Igbo spiritualities (Nso'Ala, Iwu'Ala and Ntu'Ala); to the rightful position of Igbo women in Igbo societies; from Igbo language to Igbo dressings ,(Ishi Agu vs Ishi Odum), Traditional Igbo foods and drinks, Nka'n'Uzu Igbo, Igbo Village Waters and Ancient Igbo Agriculture. Indeed, lot of damages have been done against our precious Igboness by our enslavers and colonists.
The time to restore the glories and greatness of Igbo people and their natural endowments and heritages is now.
Igbo Restoration Initiatives (IRI) was established to practically tackle and restore all that made us Igbo people.
